Schedule a Visit

You may use the form below to begin setting up an event with our outreach program. Please keep the following scheduling policies in mind when submitting your inquiry:

Beginning this year, we ask that visits are requested by August 15th for months September through December, by December 1st for months January through March, and by March 1st for months April to June. We will also try our best to accommodate requests that are past the deadline, provided they are communicated at least 6 weeks prior to the event date.
An individual school may request up to 3 separate visits per academic year. We can attend up to 4 classroom periods per visit. If multiple teachers from the same school would like to schedule outreach, please coordinate with each other to combine your requests. (The UCSD academic calendar is located here for your reference).
Our group consists of graduate students who are volunteering their time away from the lab, and as such we can accommodate just 4 events per month. Request early!
All scheduled events are subject to volunteer availability. If we don't have enough volunteers one week before the event, we will have to reschedule or cancel.

Please use this field to tell us more about the type of outreach event you'd like to set up with us. For all events, please let us know what type of material you would like us to cover. For instance, this can include what it takes to get a PhD, the day-to-day of doing science, and specific topics in neuroscience. For classroom visits, please specify: potential dates for our visit, the start/end times of each class period, and the approximate age range & number of students. For science festivals and other events, please specify the date, time, location, and any other pertinent information.
